Update?

I haven't blogged here in a really long time because I've been so busy with my Tumblr! Well it's finally spring break and I'm glad of it. I wonder how many people still read this blog. I just watched Julie and Julia. I am so in love with this movie. I absolutely love any movie Meryl Streep is in. She's so gorgeous. Julie and Julia was quite refreshing. Much better than most of the trash that does nothing for you. Julie and Julia made you think. It made you feel something. Those are the best kinds of movies in my opinion. 

It made me think about my goals. My short term goals, long term goals, and something to do. I'm so ecstatic that I watched this movie in time for spring break. I'm planning on doing something similar to what Julie Powell did in the movie. I'm going to set a short term goal for myself. I'm not quite sure what that goal is yet but I'll find it. A week? A year? How far away will the finish line be from the starting line? I honestly don't know. 

I'm excited to do something though! I don't have any projects or major essays to write which I am so thrilled about. Perhaps I finally get around to doing the things I want to do. 

The movie taught me something about blogging, something I am constantly forgetting (due to my short term memory, of course). I started this blog for me, myself and I. I started this blog to record how I feel, and what I think. I didn't start it for anyone. I'm not here to write certain things to live up to certain expectations for anyone. I'm here for myself. I shouldn't write things for other people. I should write things for myself. 

Which reminds me, I really should get to that next chapter of Charmbracelet. 

I'll get around to it this spring break.
