You Just Had To Be There

Do you ever have one of those moments? Those moments where you're trying to tell a funny story but by the time you're done, they're not laughing? Then you end it with "You just had to be there."

Tonight was one of those moments. I had my NHS induction banquet tonight and I had the most amazing time. It was so much fun. Michael, Guyay, Chasing, and Ham were the only guys sitting with us. Aside from us there was Adonnis, Constance, Marise, Amy and Lucia. I had a great time. I swear we were the loudest table there. Well do you expect anything less when you put Adonnis and myself at the same table? The boys were so nice! They laughed at all my absolutely lame jokes. Donna and I were the split in the middle. We had for girls to our right and four guys to the left. We talked to both sides and it was so much fun. We had the most interesting and silly conversations. I love how they don't care that they were called nerds. Adonnis made a nerd joke and I sat there confused. I started listening when she was finished with the joke. It caught my attention when they started laughing. That's the only reason I turned. Man, it was amazing. The room was gorgeous. There were, I believe, 57 new people.

It ended at 8. Everyone had started to leave but my entire family had gone out and I had forgotten my keys. Therefore, I had no ride home (although I could've gotten one) and no way to get into my home. So after everyone left, I walked back into the banquet room. I sat there and the President came over with Frank and started talking to me. The only ones left were the board members. The girls had all gone to the restroom. Suddenly they formed a circle around Kev. and dragged President and Frank over. They were nice enough not to leave me there so they dragged me over as well. It was one of those "Awww" moments. Loved it. Then we sat in a circle and talked. They're very very interesting people. They are so entertaining and I loved watching their personalities shine through. They're extremely nice. Final Thoughts?

I'm really glad I did this.
I love love love it. I haven't had this much fun in a really long time.

Adonnis got ready at my house. We didn't do much. We didn't have much time. It sucked cause I forgot my keys today so I sat on my steps until my brother got home to open the door me. It sucks cause I have house keys but I keep forgetting them. This seriously seriously sucks. I really should be more responsible. Garrett was so nice! I love my best friends. (: Garrett lives on the same street as me and we saw him go home. I was texting him at the same. I was dying of thirst and asked if he could bring us water. After my brother got home and let us in, he texted back asking if I was still waiting. He had planned to bring us water. What an amazing friend!

Homecoming is coming up.
And I do not have a date.
There is so much to say about my HC drama, but I absolutely don't want to let those worries overshadow my amazing amazing night.
